Should MDF Shiplap be painted before or after installation?
Primed MDF Shiplap can receive its finish paint as part of the installation and finishing process, but final coating after installation allows nail holes, joints, and other installation-related touch-ups to be addressed first. The best sequence depends on the project and installer, particularly when a highly uniform painted finish is desired.
