MD ALAM
Director of Operations
MD Alam has joined Tilton Coffered Ceilings, Inc. following a distinguished 27-year career as a project management expert in the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors. Throughout his career, MD has been employed by notable companies such as Siemens, Jacobs, Worley, Wood, and Aramco, where he focused on executing projects across various stages – FEED, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Startup for esteemed clients globally.
At Tilton Coffered Ceilings, MD contributes his extensive experience, knowledge, and skills in engaging with customers at all levels.
In 2026, MD was appointed as the Director of Operations, overseeing the daily operations.
SCOTT HALFORD
Director of Information Technology
As a consulting IT expert, Scott Halford has been instrumental in designing, testing and integrating the technical systems that underlie the Tilton Coffered Ceilings enterprise. In the summer of 2012 he officially joined the team as IT Manager of our decorative ceiling company.
Scott’s background makes him perfectly suited for this position – unlike most IT managers, he can draw upon years of experience and firsthand knowledge of the practicalities of coffered ceiling fabrication and installation. From 2006 to 2008 Scott exercised his trade skills as a Lead Finish Carpenter with Jason Tilton’s high-end Molding & Millwork business. In this role, Scott worked on a variety of premium interior remodeling projects, which included many coffered ceilings.
After completing his graduate studies in computer science, Scott moved on from carpentry to work as a Network and Systems Specialist at the Patchogue-Medford School District on Long Island, New York. During Scott’s time working in education, he and Jason continued the productive relationship they had established at Fanatic Finish, but with Scott supporting the company’s technical requirements rather than working on client installations.
As an experienced and trusted team member, Scott was the perfect choice to integrate the website, email, telephony and server systems for Tilton Coffered Ceilings, Inc. He also oversees the development and deployment of any and all new technical resources, such as the proprietary Tilton ‘Design & Quote’ software application.
