Yes. Recessed and puck style light fixtures can be installed directly into faux wood beams.
However, hanging light fixtures such as chandeliers or pendant lights must be properly supported by structural framing or blocking located behind or inside the beams. Faux wood beams are decorative and are not designed to carry significant weight on their own.
