Can Ceiling & Wall Planks Be Used / Installed Outside?
Yes. Ceiling and Wall Planks, including MDF options, can be used in dry exterior applications where they are not exposed to direct rain or snow. For example, they may be installed on a covered porch ceiling where they experience temperature and humidity changes but do not get wet.
For MDF planks used in these conditions, we recommend sealing the back (if not factory primed) and applying an exterior-grade paint to the front for added protection.
