Can 4-sided Rough Sawn faux beams be suspended below the ceiling?
Yes. A fully enclosed 4-sided profile is well suited to suspended decorative applications because the beam can be viewed from below, beside, and above without exposing an unfinished open side. The attachment system must be properly secured to structural framing rather than relying on the decorative beam itself for support. Tilton specifically recommends 4-sided beams for applications where the beam is visible from all angles.
