Order Policy

Order Acceptance 

Tilton Coffered Ceilings reserves the right to refuse acceptance of any order placed on our website for reasons we may deem necessary, fit and/or reasonable. When an order is refused the customer will be given a choice of ordering alternate product or receiving a refund.    

Order Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

IN-STOCK PRODUCTS
All sales are final. No returns, refunds, credits, or cancellations are permitted once an order has been placed. By submitting your order, you acknowledge and accept all terms and conditions related to the purchase.

MANUFACTURED-TO-ORDER & SPECIAL ORDER PRODUCTS
All sales are final. Manufactured-to-order and special-order products cannot be returned, refunded, credited, or canceled under any circumstances once an order has been placed. By submitting your order, you acknowledge and accept all terms and conditions related to the purchase.

Order Changes/Corrections 

IN-STOCK PRODUCTS
Orders are processed quickly to ensure fast shipment. Change requests cannot be accepted after processing of any order, packaging, or shipment preparation has begun. Hence, change requests for any order are not accepted after an order is placed.

MANUFACTURED-TO-ORDER & SPECIAL ORDER PRODUCTS
Manufactured-to-order and special-order products enter the production schedule shortly after an order is placed. Once production, material allocation, or processing has begun, changes will not be possible.

Requests for any changes must be submitted immediately via email to [email protected] and via phone at (800) 396-6410. Upon receipt of any change request for any order, that order will be placed on hold. Any change request may delay the production schedule, delivery timeline, and potentially affect the total price. Confirmation of any approved changes shall be established via email confirmation.

If any approved changes result in additional charges, those charges must be paid in full before the changes become effective. Afterwards, the revised order will be released from hold and returned to further processing.

Order Lead Times

Any and all lead times to manufacture and/or the availability of any products and/or any ship-by dates provided for any orders are estimated and approximate. Tilton Coffered Ceilings, Inc. makes no guarantee, either expressed or implied, for lead times to manufacture and/or the availability of any products and/or any ship-by dates provided for any orders. Additionally, product lead times to manufacture and/or the availability of any products and/or any ship-by dates provided for any orders are subject to change without notice. Tilton Coffered Ceilings, Inc. will not be held responsible for delays in manufacturing and/or unavailability of any products and/or the postponement of any ship-by dates provided for any orders. Any such occurrences do not constitute grounds for cancellation or a refund of any order.

International Orders

International orders are only accepted on a case-by-case basis and must be pre-authorized by Tilton Coffered Ceilings, Inc. All international orders will incur customs clearance charges. These charges are the responsibility of and are to be paid for by the customer.

Sample Orders

All product sample orders ship for free within the contiguous United States (aka the lower 48 states). If you order a sample to be shipped to HI, AK or outside of the USA, a shipping fee will apply and you must contact us for a shipping quote prior to placing your order.

Order Pricing

Prices for both products and shipping costs as listed on the website are subject to change without notice. Tilton Coffered Ceilings, Inc. reserves the right to cancel and refund any order due to website pricing errors.  

Order Accuracy and Correctness

Customers are fully responsible for verifying the accuracy and correctness of the products, specifications, options and quantities as ordered. Tilton Coffered Ceilings, Inc. has and/or can provide various complimentary resources, tools and assistance to aid in making these determinations prior to ordering, however no obligation and/or guarantee is expressed or implied and we cannot be held liable for any inaccuracies or incorrectness arising from the use of those resources, tools and/or assistance. 

Checking Your Order

Once delivered/received, check that you have all of the contents of your order, and that all contents are in good condition. Please report any inaccuracy of your order (i.e., the contents differ from what was ordered) within seventy-two (72) hours of receiving your order. Tilton Coffered Ceilings, Inc. is not responsible for any inaccuracies if notification is received after 72 hours of delivery/receipt of your order.

Product Color Variations

The colors of the products as depicted in the images on our website are for representation purposes and should not be fully relied on when making a purchasing decision. While we do our best to ensure that the images accurately reflect each product's actual appearance, due to the differences in monitor and device settings (brightness, contrast, saturation, etc.) as well as the lighting used for the images themselves, there can be noticeable differences in how the colors appear on the screen versus how they appear in person. 

Additionally, the color of products may vary slightly from lot to lot and order to order. These variances are considered normal, and are within industry standards. If orders are placed at different times we cannot guarantee an exact color match between those separate orders. As such, we recommend that some extra product be purchased at the time of order to eliminate any future color matching issues.

It is highly recommended that you ORDER A PHYSICAL SAMPLE prior to placing an order for the product itself and that any/all pre-finished products be ordered at the same time to insure they are all finished from the same dye lot of paint or stain for the most consistent coloration across products. 

Refused Orders

Orders which are refused by the customer for reasons other than shipping damages, and/or without having received an RMA# from a Tilton Coffered Ceilings representative will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer at their expense inclusive of any and all additional fees (i.e. storage, handling, rescheduling etc.) incurred with the shipping carrier.
