What If My Ceiling Is Not Perfectly Square?
Not to worry. No ceiling is ever perfectly square, and very few walls are perfectly flat or straight. This is a common condition in both new construction and remodel projects.
When utilizing the Perimeter Molding option, any minor gaps or variations between the Perimeter Beams, Perimeter Fittings, and the surrounding walls are concealed. This allows for a clean, finished look without requiring the ceiling or walls to be perfectly square.
If you choose not to include Perimeter Molding with your kit, additional care will be required during installation. In that case, the Perimeter Beams and Fittings should be scribed and/or tapered to follow the wall contours so they fit tightly and appear visually seamless once caulked and finished.
