Crown Molding Options

The standard crown molding sizes and profiles for the Tilton Coffered Ceiling System have been carefully selected to maintain proper proportion with their corresponding beam depths while also looking great.

The following crown moldings are included as standard with our coffered ceiling systems*: 

• 3 5/8” Crown is used with:
  - 4 ¼” deep Overlay Style Beams
  - 3 ½” deep Inset Style Beams
• 5 5/8” Crown is used with:
  - 6 ¼” deep Overlay Style Beams
  - 5 ½” deep Inset Style Beams
• 7 1/4” Crown is used with:
  - 8” deep Overlay Style Beams
  - 7 ¼” deep Inset Style Beams
• 9” Crown is used with:
  - 10” deep Overlay Style Beams
  - 9 ¼” deep Inset Style Beams
• 10 1/2” Crown is used with:
  - 12” deep Overlay Style Beams
  - 11 ¼” deep Inset Style Beams

If your project requires a crown molding size or profile other than those included in our standard configurations contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs and desires.

Additionally, you may select a smaller crown molding for your ceiling system than what is listed as the standard size. This will allow for more of the vertical sides of the beams to show as well as enlarge the visible ceiling panel area.
